When: 4 Tuesdays of March 12 & 26, April 9 & 23, 2024 - 8:30 am to 4:00 pm

Program Overview: The Foundations series of classes does not lead to certification but rather gives the learner a solid base knowledge on the topics in a more moderately-paced environment compared to Certification Review Courses.  There are a total of 6 courses within the Foundations program (Introduction to Supply Chain Principles; Distribution and Logistics; Operations Planning; Inventory Management; Manufacturing Management; Managing Operations).  A full suite of Web tools with an online dictionary, e-flashcards, quizzes and tests are included with each Participant Learning System.  No physical book will be shipped.

Who Should Attend? The Foundations courses would be appropriate for newcomers to manufacturing or those who are new to their roles in planning or procurement.

Curriculum:  Classes are highly interactive with a rich variety of study tools, peer discussions, team exercises, videos and case studies. 

Foundations of Manufacturing Management will be offered Spring of 2024 in the following format:

(PMM01) - Operations Management - self study; quiz must be completed by 3/9/24.

3/12/24 - (PMM02) - Introduction to Manufacturing Management and (PMM03) - Manufacturing Product Structures

3/26/24 - (PMM04) - Basics of Material Requirements Planning and (PMM05) - Managing with MRP

(PMM06) - Mid-term Exam will be take-home and must be completed by 4/2/24.

4/9/24 - (PMM07) - Capacity Planning and Management and (PMM08) - Production Activity Control

4/23/24 - (PMM09) - Advanced Scheduling and (PMM10) - Lean Production Management

(PMM11) - Final Exam will be take-home and must be completed by 4/30/24.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL MATERIALS ARE ON-LINE!  NO PHYSICAL BOOKS WILL BE SHIPPED!

CPIM, CSCP or CLTD attendees completing this course are awarded 27 Certification Maintenance points.

SHE HAS PROVIDED WORKSHOPS AND CONSULTING SERVICES TO ENTREPRENEURS AND SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS. CURRENTLY SHE DELIVERS APICS CPIM, CSCP, CLTD AND foundations TRAINING, ENHANCING THE CURRICULUM TO PROVIDE HANDS-ON AND ENGAGING EXPERIENCES FOR ALL STUDENTS.  SHE IS THE 2019 and 2023 RECIPIENT OF THE JONI HOLEMAN DISTINGUISHED INSTRUCTOR AWARD.
