Knauf is a family company founded in 1932 by the brothers Karl and Dr. Alfons N. Knauf. Today, their sons steer the success of the corporation's many building materials enterprises in close coordination with the family. From its beginnings in gypsum processing over in Germany, Knauf has expanded and diversified. It is now a multinational corporation delivering a wide variety of insulation materials and many other building products.

Knauf Insulation North America represents one of the most respected and progressive names in insulation worldwide. Though operations first began throughout Europe, Knauf Insulation manufacturing started here in the United States in 1978. Having since pioneered many sustainable insulation manufacturing practices, we are one of the fastest growing insulation manufacturers in the world.

The Inwood plant became part of Knauf in 2014 when Knauf Insulation acquired Guardian Insulation.

When you arrive on site you will use the Employee Entrance off of Tabler Station Road (entrance #1). Please park in the employee parking lot located by the flagpole. Come in the main doors by the flag pole, and sign in.
