What is the Supply Chain Planning Certificate?

SCPC teaches you the fundamentals of supply chain planning with a focus on S&OP and synchronized planning. Synchronized planning is a cross functional approach to planning that engages multiple functional stakeholders working together to align their plans and strategies to create a cohesive and integrated plan that supports your organization goals and objectives.

The Supply Chain Planning Certificate enables you to understand:

• Balanced Scorecard KPIs and the flow of planning from business plan to execution
• The S&OP process in managing Demand and producing a Production Plan
• The Master Production Scheduling process and how it supports customer service through Available-to-Promise (ATP)
• The Material Requirement Planning (MRP) process and how it manages plan execution.
• The Capacity Planning process and how to calculate load at each planning level.
• Purchasing Strategies and Production Activity Control techniques including Lean and TOC
• Distribution Requirements, Reorder Point System, and Logistics Planning processes
• Technologies that are trending to support Synchronous Planning

Meet Your Instructor:

Todd N. Sabin, CPIM, CSCP

Mr. Sabin’s passion for manufacturing spans 25 years holding dynamic roles as a practitioner, educator, and entrepreneur in both the private and public sectors. He has provided consulting and conducted APICS training to Maryland manufacturers for over 15 of those years from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

What: Supply Chain Certificate Course. This is an in-person course. Participants will not be able to join virtually.

What’s Included: Students get access to the on-line learning component including all overheads, videos, flashcards, practice questions, and a comprehensive final exam. After passing the exam, students receive a certificate and digital badge that you can display on your LinkedIn profile and other social media. Additionally, earn 20 certification maintenance points upon program completion.
