Meet The Presenter

Christopher Slijk is a Texas-based economist whose work focuses on regional economic growth and drivers of manufacturing and service sector activity. His background includes work in survey design, time-series forecasting, real-time data analysis, and regional economic development. Slijk has been published in academic journals and publications covering topical issues in state-level economic growth and measurement.
Slijk spent ten years as an economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He is a Certified Business Economist by the National Association of Business Economics and has an MS in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in economics from Cornell University.
