Scope:  A robust Cycle Counting process is a powerful tool to identify the source of database errors.  If those errors are analyzed for their root cause, with their process steps corrected, then future mistakes are avoided.  One indirect benefit of using Cycle Count disciplines is that with an accurate inventory database, average inventory investment can be reduced via less safety stock and lower lot sizes.  If your Cycle Counting process isn’t delivering these results, then consider revisiting how your steps are being followed. 

Who Should Attend?  Industry newcomers, accountants, shipping & receiving personnel, stockroom associates and materials managers should all take this course to become familiar with best industry practices.  

Schedule:  This 8-hour workshop is being offered from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on July 12, 2016.  Students must bring their own highlighters and a calculator with square root function.  Materials will be distributed at the beginning of the workshop.  Cost of $390 per MRAS employee includes tuition plus the following materials:

 Meet Your Instructor: Joni Holeman, CFPIM, CIRM, CSCP, CDDP

Joni serves as DC Metro's VP of Education and is President of Affirmation Training Inc.   Joni has over 25 years of planning, material management and manufacturing experience in businesses ranging from custom lighting (ETO), value engineering, electronics (MTO & ATO) and remanufacturing (MTS).  Each point along her career path prepared her for the concepts she now instructs.  A professional trainer since 1998, Joni teaches the entire suites for all three APICS Principles, CPIM and CSCP programs as well as human potential workshops.
