Directions
Scope: Gain an in-depth understanding of the demand management, S&OP, master planning, and resource scheduling tasks necessary to achieve departmental integration and operating efficiencies in an enterprise. Enhancements for optimizing all aspects of fulfilling customer orders are presented, as well as FGI Inventory Control and Distribution Resources Planning.
Who Should Attend? Professionals involved in ERP implementations, sales or marketing, buying/planning, design & engineering, distribution, finance, inventory management, production scheduling, shop supervision, information systems, and Supply Chain consulting will all gain knowledge of Best Commercial Practices from this module.
Cost: This 24-hour course is being offered Tuesdays from 4 pm – 7 pm, September 13 and 20, October 4, 11, 18, 25 and November 1 and 8. Students must bring highlighters and a calculator with square root function to every session. Member Cost of $950 ($1250 Nonmember) includes tuition plus the following materials:

- Domestic CPIM Exam credit (valid for six months)
Curriculum: There is substantial reading preparation in advance of every session, including the first. Classes are highly interactive, combining handouts, grid & homework exercises, class discussions, video clips. Classroom sessions cover:
- Master Planning of Resources
- Forecasting Demand
- Demand Management & Customer Service
- Distribution Planning
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- S&OP and Master Scheduling
- Managing the Master Schedule
Meet Your Instructor: Jessica Flory, MBA, CPIM, CSCP Jessica has worked in production control, demand planning and material planning in the heavy equipment manufacturing and automotive supply industries. She has provided workshops and consulting services to entrepreneurs and small business owners. Currently she delivers APICS CPIM and CSCP training, enhancing the curriculum to provide hands-on and engaging experiences for all students.
