The Cumberland Valley Operating Unit of your newly expanded DC Metro chapter is pleased to announce our March event - Tour of JLG.

JLG has long been a pioneer in producing environmentally friendly lift and access equipment. They also continually seek out and embrace ways to be more sustainable in every aspect of their operation. Sustainability guides their responsibility to the environment and to their customers, who demand green solutions.

At parent company Oshkosh, sustainability drives responsible manufacturing, careful resource management and environmentally sound products and services. As an Oshkosh company, JLG continues to lead the way in making innovative products that meet customers’ needs for energy-efficient solutions and reduce impact on the environment.

All foreign visitors must be reported in advance to the Facility Security Officer. A form must be completed and submitted to the Facility Security Officer at least ten days in advance for all unclassified visits to allow sufficient time for processing.  Please request a copy of the form from [email protected].

Steel-toed shoes are required and must be worn while in the manufacturing areas. JLG will provide slip-on OSHA Toes as a temporary solution. Any persons with open toe shoes or refusing to wear the temporary OSHA Toes will be excluded from the tour, no exceptions!

Josh Horton, Director of Operations will greet us at the tour beginning at 5:30PM on March 16. Josh and Shane Shatzley, the Shippensburg Plant Operations Manager will lead the tour personally.
