Thank you for your participation in previous DC Metro Chapter events!  As a result of your interest in APICS training and/or getting more active in Chapter activities, you have been invited to a special complimentary dinner on behalf of our FY18 BoD Nominating Team.

We want to make this year's Election of Officers much more interactive than our previous annual surveys.  These are very exciting times for your local APICS Chapter!  DC Metro is preparing for exponential growth as we serve the supply chain transformation intitiative underway at a major client.  We've been investing in new financial infrastructure, reporting systems, governance documentation and subcontractor agreements with our trainers.  FY15's merger with the Cumberland Valley APICS Chapter has now been fully integrated, bringing us fresh perspectives and highly skilled volunteers.  We chartered 2 more Student Chapters at APUS and Howard University, who join UMD's highly successful Student Chapter.

Thus, the pleasure of your company is requested for a Nominating Team dinner at the Amphora Deluxe Diner next Monday, June 12, 2017 at 6:00 pm in Herndon, VA.  We have secured a private banquet room for this casual working dinner.

We seek your valued insights and ideas to help us shape our Executive Leadership team for the next few years.  DC Metro's BoD has been blessed with gifted nonprofit volunteers.  Our continuity development process has provided us with excellent leaders, positioning our Chapter within APICS' top 20 Channel Partners in terms of revenue and material purchases.  

Despite our remarkable achievements, a recent convergence of unrelated events has disrupted our existing Executive Team.  New jobs and new babies have created unforeseen openings for the elected roles of President, Executive VP and Treasurer.  So the purpose of this dinner is to obtain your inputs and guidance as we move forward into FY18 and the next three years.

Please join us for this informative event.  We're inviting about 25 of your colleagues from several different companies in the DMV area.  This will be a fun evening of networking and brainstorming along with delicious food.  Come to meet other decision-makers, make new connections and become part of the future for one of the most successful Chapters within APICS!
