Join us on Tuesday, Sept 5 for a chartered ride to & from Amazon's amazing Fulfillment Center (FC) in Chester, VA! Continental breakfast, coffee & water plus a Panera sandwich boxed lunch, as well as the executive bus (with a restroom) are included for the member price of only $52.00 ($100 nonmembers).

This tour takes you on a behind the scenes look into one of the best run distribution centers in the United States. Discover the fulfillment process in real time and learn what happens to items once you click “buy” on Amazon.com. From start to finish, you’ll see the entire process of receiving, organizing, and finally packaging and delivery to customers.
We'll be visiting one of only two FCs on the Eastern seaboard (out of the seven US FCs who offer tours). Registration is strictly limited to 30 seats, and because of the bus contract, is nonrefundable and noncancellable. Deadline for registering is 5:00 pm Friday, July 28, 2017. Our agenda for the day is as follows:
- 6:45 am Board Metropolitan Shuttle bus at Tysons Corner Mall in the Lord & Taylor outdoor parking lot
- 7:00 am Bus leaves for 2.5 hour drive to Chester, VA--en route, we'll introduce ourselves, eat breakfast and share details about Amazon's supply chain expertise
- 10:00 am Amazon Fullfillment Center 1-hour tour
- 11:30 am Bus leaves for 2.5 hour drive to Tysons Corner Mall--en route, we'll eat a Panera boxed lunch, debrief the tour, hold an "Ask Anything" forum and raffle off 4 door prizes
- 2:00 pm Bus arrives at Tysons Corner Mall
We'll provide coffee and bottled water. Bring your own sodas and snacks in a small cooler bag. Our minibus does not have overhead bin storage.
